Enjoyed it! A nice taste of Louisiana that's a different vibe/experience than much of what I've had in KC. The decor inside gives the place a lot of personality and they had live music a little after we left (though I can't say how often they have thjs). Went with a group so it was a good opportunity to see different menu items and it seemed everyone enjoyed it! Seemed like some pretty good cocktails but didn't get one myself. The food seemed to all have good spice and flavor. The menu is a bit on the long side but with several appetizing options it was hard to choose! I had the blackened catfish and really liked it. Tried some of the catfish nuggets as well and I'd say they are as good as I hoped they would be. I'd definitely come back and try more of the food here!

You'll feel like you've stepped into New Orleans with some of the best Cajun food in the city and live music. Don't pass on the pasta. That blackened chicken fettuccine.

Shrimp Poboy and blackened chicken Alfredo for the win Have always got my food to go here, but have reconsider that lately since they have a real bourbon street vibe in this joint with live music sometimes

I ordered delivery so I am only reviewing the food since I didn't go into the restaurant. The fried okra was cooked to perfection and served with ranch. I wish it came with hot sauce instead but it was good with no dipping sauce. The blackened catfish was a bit salty and could use a lemon squeeze or some type of sauce. The vegetable medley was fresh and crisp. The rice has a little spice to it and was a good balance with the veggies. The next time I'm in the area I look forward to going into the restaurant because their website states they have live music on certain nights.

This is a great spot in Westport to check out if you want to try some great Louisiana cuisine. There's live music while you eat, good customer service, and the food and drinks are on point. I tried the Arrowhead Punch...this will be my go-to drink every time I eat here . The place is clean and has a nice vibe. This is certainly a good place to attend for lunch, a quick happy hour or dinner.

Ambiance had a jazzy feel. The staff were friendly and service was fast. I went here to try something new and different but didn't really enjoy my dish. The bbq shrimp I got was too pungent but overall everything was good.

There previously was a large open free parking lot next to this restaurant. For the past couple of years, parking has been a problem for that restaurant, since the parking lot became a construction site at which a large apartment building has been under construction along with an attached parking garage. While the construction of the apartment building is not complete, the garage is now open, and it offers free parking for some nearby restaurants including Jazz. After parking in the garage, you will need to use your cell phone to scan the QR code for the parking lot inside the restaurant to get free parking in the garage. There is no need to scan the QR code in the garage, when you park in the garage. You should do that inside the restaurant. But to complete the registration for the free parking after scanning the QR code, you will need to know your license plate number, so make sure to have that available when you enter the restaurant. When you initially scan the QR code in the restaurant and fill in the requested information, it might appear that you are going to be charged, but when you drive out of the garage, you will find that the charges have been removed. I don't know whether parking in that garage will remain free, once the apartment building is complete and space in that garage is more heavily used. But at present, parking in the garage is free, if you dine at a participating restaurant. I find it to be very difficult to resist the wonderful charbroiled oysters at this restaurant, especially on Thursdays, when the oysters come in here.
